The competition package for the Audi RS5 F5 consists the Intercooler Upgrade Kit and the Radiator Upgrade Kit.

The intercooler upgrade kit:
The 2.9 Liter V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) of RS5 F5 models is equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. So the cooling of the charged air is realized by a watercooled intercooler which will be replaced by this WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler.
The WAGNER TUNING high-performance intercooler has got a new performance core with the external core dimensions 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm / 8,74Inch x 7,87Inch x 4,72Inch. This intercooler core was directly developed for the high requirements of the RS5 F5 engine and offers 185 % more external core volume compared to the stock intercooler. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and at the same time the best possible internal air flow. The aluminum cast endtanks were designed in CAD and optimized in CFD simulations. The result is an excellent cooling property with a minimal back pressure. That`s why this kit is also perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
All WAGNER TUNING radiators are equipped with a heat-conductive anti corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect. The plug & play installation of the system is simple and easy to perform (an installation instruction is included as well).

The radiator upgrade kit:

A reduction of the temperature of the cooling water is directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charged air. The new developed competition racing core of the WAGNER TUNING high performance water coolers increase the radiator volume of the OEM water coolers by a total of 55 %. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and allows at the same time enough air flow for the surrounding components (for example the engine water cooler) for its own heat exchange. The water coolers are equipped with a heat-conductive anti corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect.
