The Competition high-performance charge air cooler impressed with generous net dimensions of 550 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm, which corresponds to a total volume of 17,130 cm³. This impressive size means that it offers a 134% larger inflow area and a 105% increase in charge air volume compared with the standard intercooler. The high-quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators ensures optimum airflow and maximum cooling performance. Despite its imposing dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is just 9.5 kg, resulting in weight savings and improved vehicle dynamics.

The cast aluminum end boxes of the charge air cooler were optimized with the aid of flow analyses in the CFD system to achieve outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. The connection diameters at the intercooler inlet are Ø62 mm and at the intercooler outlet Ø67 mm to ensure optimum flow efficiency.

Another highlight is the anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties that is added to all our charge air coolers. This ensures lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler kit is completely ready to install and can be easily replaced with the stock intercooler - simply plug and play. It has been tested up to 6 bar and is pressure stable, so you can rely on its reliability.
